The stairs to the basement were dark, cluttered with a deteriorated broom closet. By removing that closet a display wall and ledge were left to better use. New light fixtures downstairs brightened the stairs, as well as new paint. The steps were covered in old carpet which was removed, and then the steps were painted for easier maintenance.
